Artist's Comments

Almost forgotten but never alone this chair resides with a house long left to disarray. When I enter old buildings I often reflect on their use, who has left their mark, and ask why now is their no use for them.

Taken with my EVOLT last summer.

This small building can be found across the street from Santa’s Village in Putney, VT USA. I believe that this was part of an old road side motel, the only other remaining building was a kind of store front [link] . I didn't poke and prod too much as I must respect the land owner but It was obvious that the house hadn’t been used as such in quite a long time. The wall texture and paint was wonderful and I am disappointed that I didn’t capture any of that, but maybe when I am at home this summer I will take a ride over to visit the site again.

It is well documented that I do not, in fact spell correctly all the time.

Hello,

Amazing house, where did you find it? What is that panel reveal?
Is that a naked electrical wire to the right of the window?
Why the hell is there hay inside the room? Where there some animals who had taken up residency?
What else did you find out about the house?
The colour and texture on the decrepid wall is facinating.
